From the first stage of the options process, in Year 8, students receive Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) on their post-16 choices, including further education, apprenticeships and work. As a member of the Cambridge Area Partnership (CAP), LVC has close links with post-16 providers in Cambridge, including Hills Road and Long Road sixth-form colleges and Cambridge Regional College. Many of our students move on to one of these colleges when they leave LVC, although an increasing number are following courses at other providers, and we work hard to ensure that all students are offered places on suitable post-16 courses.
Please use the links below to access information about post-16 choices for Year 11 students and their parents. If you have any questions about post-16 education and careers, please contact Ian Farr, Inclusion manager.

Already thinking of University? For those who have already decided you wish to go to university the Informed Choices website from the Russell Group is very informative, even if you are unsure as to what degree you wish to study, as it may help you make decisions about post-16 courses.
LVC is closed from Monday 21st October until Friday 25th October for half term.
