From the first stage of the options process, in Year 8, students receive Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) on their post-16 choices, including further education, apprenticeships and work. As a member of the Cambridge Area Partnership (CAP), LVC has close links with post-16 providers in Cambridge, including Hills Road and Long Road sixth-form colleges and Cambridge Regional College. Many of our students move on to one of these colleges when they leave LVC, although an increasing number are following courses at other providers, and we work hard to ensure that all students are offered places on suitable post-16 courses.
Please use the links below to access information about post-16 choices for Year 11 students and their parents. If you have any questions about post-16 education and careers, please contact Ian Simmons, Careers Lead & Post-16 Coordinator.
