LVC became an academy in February 2011 and with over 800 students on roll, we are committed to creating a stimulating and lively environment where all people can realise their full potential. Our specialisms in Business & Enterprise and Applied Learning demonstrate our commitment to ensuring that our community prospers in future years.
We are passionate about learning and passionate about the achievement of young people. We want that achievement to be lifelong. At Linton Village College, everyone is a learner and every learner matters. Our mission is to be a world-class centre of learning. In 2013, we became a National Teaching School, leading an alliance dedicated to teacher training and school support in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. In April 2014, we formed the Chilford Hundred Education Trust in partnership with Meadow Primary School.
LVC is a small school with a happy, family atmosphere, whose sports facilities and community learning programme have long placed it at the heart of the village community.
LVC was awarded outstanding status in May 2012.
