At Linton Village College, everyone is a learner and every learner matters. With just over 870 students on roll, we are a small school with a happy, family atmosphere.
LVC’s staff is committed to creating a stimulating and lively environment where everyone can realise their full potential. We are passionate about lifelong learning and the achievement of all members of the College community. Our adult learning and leisure facilities have long placed us at the heart of our locality, in line with Henry Morris’ vision for the Village College movement when LVC was opened in 1937.
LVC converted to academy status in 2011. In 2013, we became a National Teaching School, leading an alliance (CASSA) dedicated to teacher training and supporting school improvement in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. In April 2014, we formed the Chilford Hundred Education Trust (CHET) in partnership with Meadow Primary School, which now includes three further primary schools, to contribute to high standards of education across South Cambridgeshire and West Suffolk.
LVC was awarded outstanding status in May 2012.

Once the school’s accounts have been audited and approved by the Governors they are filed at Companies House. There is also a requirement to submit these final accounts to the Education Funding Agency (EFA) and to be published on the school’s website.
The Chilford Hundred Education Trust 2016/17 final accounts and legal documents are held on the CHET website, which can be found here.
