The Faculty Structure
At Linton, pursuing excellence in teaching and learning is at the core of everything we do. In order to achieve the highest standards and provide the best learning opportunities, subjects are organised into faculties. These are led by a Head of Faculty, supported by other senior teachers and subject specialists who carefully monitor the progress of all students and the quality of their experience in the classroom. Any queries about specific subjects or your child's academic progress can be dealt with by their subject teacher or the Head of Faculty.
The faculties are:
- Communication
- Enterprise
- Humanities
- Maths and Science
- Sports and Arts
The Student Support Faculty oversees all additional academic, pastoral and special needs provision for students at Linton. This includes one-to-one tuition, a special needs centre, teaching assistant support in lessons, liaison with external agencies, mentoring and counselling.
